The problem with re-reading this book is the ending. Every time I start to read it I get a sense of dread, as I know what will happen in the end. Despite this, I thought that it was quite an enjoyable book.
While the story starts pretty immediately after the end of the previous book (or at least it feels like the gap between the two books is shorter than ever) it takes a bit of time for the plot to develop. This year the story seems to be a lot more character driven and the focus seems to be less on Harry and his friends than it is on Dumbledore and Voldemort. On one hand, I felt this information was quite interesting and adds to the story, I did feel that as the title character Harry should have a more important role in the story. There was very little in this book that I felt needed Harry to be there.
The ending of the book was the most interesting part of the story, as there was more action and was similar to the other books in the series. However, the last few chapters of the book always make me feel awful and seem to put a dampener on my enjoyment of the book.
