City of Glass Review

This book was a wonderful conclusion to the first half of the series. The characters were well written and I found that they acted very true to their characters.  I enjoyed the time we got to spend with Luke and Clary as it really cements the father-daughter relationship that they have. I did think that the ‘love’ triangle that Clary finds herself in was a bit stupid, especially as the choice she would make was obvious from the start.

Plot-wise, I did think that some of the things that happened were a little convenient, however, I did think that the conclusion was well written and thought out, having had things sprinkled through the other books that led up to the ending.
